SAVAGE TAKES ON VIRGINIA INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY

Ligier Junior Formula Championship competition returns to action this weekend at VIR in Alton, Virginia, where Alex Savage and the No. 33 Savage Auto Sport team will continue their pursuit of the championship.

With the championship battle entering a critical stage of the season, every lap, every qualifying position, and every race finish will carry added importance. Alex Savage enters the VIR weekend determined to continue building momentum as he battles for valuable championship points and additional podium finishes in the highly competitive Ligier Junior Formula Championship. SAVAGE AUTO SPORT JOINS USF PRO CHAMIONSHIPS FOR 2027

Savage Auto Sport is proud to announce that we will compete in the 2027 USF Pro Championships Presented by Continental Tire, marking an exciting new chapter in the team's continued growth and commitment to open-wheel racing.

We are preparing to take the next step by joining one of North America's premier open-wheel racing series. The move represents a significant milestone for the team as we continue building a foundation for long-term success while competing against some of the country's top young drivers.

As part of our preparation, Alex Savage and the team recently completed a productive testing session at Homestead-Miami Speedway in South Florida. The test provided valuable experience with the USF Pro Championships racecar and allowed the team to continue refining both driver performance and overall car setup. Every session is an opportunity to gather data, improve communication, and build confidence as we prepare for our debut.

Additional testing sessions are scheduled throughout this month as we continue gaining valuable seat time and making steady progress toward the 2027 season. Each mile on track is an important step in ensuring both Alex and the team are fully prepared for the challenges that lie ahead.

FOUR STRAIGHT DAYS OF RACING AT NATIONAL CORVETTE MUESUM MOTORSPARK

Alex Savage spent four straight days at National Corvette Museum Motorsports Park competing in the Lucas Oil Formula Car Series. Throughout an action-packed week of practice, qualifying, and racing, Alex continued to gain valuable experience behind the wheel while battling against a competitive field.

His strongest result of the event was an impressive 4th-place finish, adding another milestone to his development as he continues progressing through the open-wheel racing ranks.

Following the event at National Corvette Museum Motorsports Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky, Alex Savage leaves the weekend 6th in the Lucas Oil Formula Car Series championship standings. With valuable points added to the championship and momentum continuing to build, Alex now turns his focus to the next round of the season.

The Lucas Oil Formula Car Series resumes on September 28–29 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio, where Alex and the team will look to continue their progress and fight for another strong finish as the championship battle continues.

ALEX SAVAGE CAPTURES TWO PODIUM FINISHES AT NEW JERSEY MOTORSPORTS PARK

Alex Savage delivered another strong weekend in the Ligier Junior Formula Championship, earning two podium finishes at New Jersey Motorsports Park.

Competing against one of the series' strongest fields, Alex continued to build momentum by securing two podium finishes, showing competitive pace throughout the weekend at a racetrack that was very demanding on the car and the driver.

Alex capitalized on every opportunity during the race weekend. Strong racecraft, consistent lap times, and clean execution allowed him to battle at the front of the field and finish in the 3rd postion twice, earning valuable championship points.

Although the final race of the weekend ended prematurely following an incident in Turn 2 on the opening lap, Alex walked away uninjured, and the team remained focused on the positives from an otherwise outstanding event. The pair of podium finishes highlighted the progress made throughout the season and demonstrated the team's ability to consistently compete for top results.

With another successful weekend in the books, Alex leaves New Jersey Motorsports Park 5th in the Ligier Junior Formula Championship standings. As the season enters its final stretch, he and the Savage Auto Sport team remain committed to building on their momentum, chasing additional podium finishes, and continuing their fight toward the front of the championship.
